1. Marketplace role
Hobbies provides an online venue where independent sellers list hobby products and buyers purchase them. Hobbies is not the seller of record for third-party listings unless explicitly stated. Sellers are responsible for their listings, inventory, fulfillment, and compliance with applicable laws.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Business accounts applying for wholesale or partner programs must provide truthful application details. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our policies.
3. Buying on Hobbies
When you place an order, you agree to pay the listed price, applicable shipping, taxes, and fees shown at checkout. Inventory may be reserved during checkout for a limited time. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; card details are not stored on Hobbies servers.
4. Selling on Hobbies
Sellers must comply with our Seller Policy, accurately describe items and condition, ship orders promptly, and honor applicable return commitments shown on listings. Sellers authorize Hobbies to collect payments and distribute payouts according to our payout schedule.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Listing counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented products
- Circumventing fees, checkout, or dispute processes
- Harassment, fraud, or abuse of buyers, sellers, or staff
- Scraping or automated access that degrades the service
- Violating applicable export, tax, or consumer protection laws
6. Disputes between users
Buyers and sellers should attempt to resolve order issues directly when possible. Hobbies provides dispute tools and moderation. Our Refunds & Disputes policy describes how chargebacks and platform disputes are handled.
7. Limitation of liability
Hobbies is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every listing meets your expectations. Our liability for marketplace transactions is limited as described in applicable law and our dispute processes.
